Functional hypothalamic amenorrhoea (FHA) is a disorder associated with functional inhibition of the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis due to deficiency of pulsatile GnRH. The incidence of FHA ranges from 15 to 48% of all secondary amenorrheas.
